Pres. Obama’s Latest Gag Gift to We The People!!!!
As much as I hate to say this, it is never the less true. Very nearly half of our citizenry is quite content to let someone else, usually the government, take responsibility for their every need. Is “personal responsibility” gone for these people or is it so foreign a thought it’s just easier to let the government do it? I’m not sure which it is, but I do know the present occupant of the White House is all to happy to take care of it for them. IF they will only just vote for him to keep his job of taking care of them. Now it’s been said by some that his way of doing the job is class warfare, but he said in a campaign speech a few days ago, “It’s not class warfare, it’s just common sense”. Common sense Mr. President? I don’t think so!
Now, on to my idea of his latest gag gift to we the people. A couple of days ago he presented his latest proposed budget to Congress. And by the way, we as a country haven’t had a properly passed budget in over three years. If what I’ve seen so far of this proposed budget is true, it has to be a gag gift to the people. I don’t see how it can possibly be considered anything but. If the people out there, who are much smarter than this simple writer, are right this budget would put us another 5 trillion in debt. Mr. President, if you can not figure this out by yourself, let me help you. We the people, as a country are BROKE!!! We can not afford anymore of your grandiose ideas. Sir, I learned in high school economics class that when you paid out more than you brought in, you were BROKE. If I or anyone else ran our business like you are running the country we would either be broke or in jail, or both. Mr. President, your latest proposed budget is simply a campaign document and a very feeble attempt to buy enough votes to keep you in office four more years. Sorry sir, this country can not afford it. The credit
card from bank of China is maxed out! Sir, is it to much to ask that you and the rest of the politicians in Washington,DC do your job and stop spending us into oblivion?
Now dear reader, this is why I think the proposed budget is a gag gift. This document is like giving your best friend a wedding gift of a sex toy to use on his or her wedding night. If that isn’t a gag gift please tell me what it is! Have a nice day, Gary
